About Us
JULIE LLOYD
I am a solicitor, specialising in commercial property. My focus is on landlord and tenant matters and working with businesses in various sectors including the catering sector, drawing on my experience in a previous life before I re-trained to become a solicitor. Many of my tenant clients who run pubs, restaurants, cafes, need legal help, and advice, on lease assignment and disposal, business acquisitions and sales.
After completing a degree in catering and hotel administration and running a restaurant in Birmingham, I moved to London to work at the Charing Cross Hotel, as Assistant Manager, before joining Royal Mail in 1989 as “Property and Facilities Manager” for its catering division. In 1995 I decided on a change of career and embarked on the necessary training to become a solicitor, qualifying in 2003.
I act for many other individuals and businesses, primarily dealing with
- new leases of industrial units acting for both tenants and landlords
- buying and selling commercial property,
- the acquisition and disposal of leases plus associated matters
- the grant of easements, adverse possession claims and land registrations
- buying and selling of business (but not limited companies).
After a short break in 2010, where I indulged my passion for travelling, I returned to the UK and Glenn and I decided to set up in partnership together in Hungerford. Lloyd Evans LLP was born and we haven’t looked back since!
